Vent-Lock Safety Cam & Groove Couplings

Low pressure system designed specifically for the oil & gas industry

Dixon BOSS LPS products are designed for the transfer of fluid and solids with a safer connection. The safety release cam and groove couplings permit the release of static pressure when disconnecting hose assembly. The venting system protects operator from being sprayed with hazardous or non-hazardous fluids and solids.

Dixon Quick Coupling proudly emphasizes American manufacturing in our state-of-the-art facility in Dallas, NC. With a focus on market knowledge, engineering excellence, and an industry leading customer experience, Dixon Quick Coupling is The Right Connection for all your quick disconnect needs.

4 valuable Applications that fit AMR Capabilities

Cryogenic Couplings

Applications:

  • Container discharge, fuel bunkering, loading/unloading of tank trucks, rail tankers and ship tankers, vapor recovery lines

Features for Breakaways:

  • Operates independently of shut-off safety system and does not require an external power source
  • High flow rate / low pressure drop
  • Positive shut-off of both coupling halves results in minimum product loss

Features for Dry Disconnects:

  • Valve cannot be opened until the unit is coupled and closes automatically when disconnecting
  • No loss or spillage of liquids at connection or disconnection
  • Selective (code) system allows the system to be used for a wide range of cryogenic liquefied gases without any risk of failure owing to human error.
